Good vibes in the night
Recently opened, Emilona presents itself as a "street trattoria", an Italian restaurant where you can eat good food "just like at grandma's house", in a modern, intimate setting, both chic and relaxed. Taking over the former Daïwelskichen premises, Emilona has transformed the place and conjures up a whole new vibe, combining good traditional recipes with speakeasy and food porn trends. The atmosphere is hushed, mysterious, cinematic to the core. The decor skilfully plays on the contrast between light and shade and the energy of the neon signs that rise up from the walls in the dark. In the lower room, the artist Zadri was given free rein to cover an entire wall with his colourful tags. The toilets have also been given a special, highly Instagrammable dressing: the walls are entirely covered with hundreds of old magazine covers, while a large baroque mirror allows you to reflect in all majesty.
